Privacy policy

Vetrinex Labs ("we", "us", "our") operates vetrinexlabs.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
You give us:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Shipping and billing address
- Payment details — processed by Shopify Payments and our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your dog's name, age, weight and breed, and the symptoms you describe — collected mainly through our quiz, and used to score the result and recommend the right dose
- Anything you send us by email or in a review
Collected automatically when you visit:
- IP address, browser and device type, operating system
- Pages viewed, time on page, referring site
- Cookies and similar technologies (see below)
- Session recording — we use a tool that records how you move through the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. It does not record what you type, and it does not capture card numbers or passwords
Why we use it
- To process and ship your order, and handle returns
- To manage subscriptions and send billing reminders before each charge
- To provide customer support
- To send marketing emails and texts, where you have opted in
- To measure and improve our advertising
- To detect fraud and meet our legal obligations
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who need it to do their job:

We also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
A note on our move to Shopify. Subscriptions started before this move continue to be billed through ClickFunnels and Stripe until they end. If you are one of those customers, both systems hold your information for as long as your subscription is active.
Advertising and "sharing" under California law
We use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API, and Google Analytics. These send information about your activity on our site to those companies so we can measure and target advertising.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this counts as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer, or by emailing support@vetrinexlabs.com.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to run the site (cart, checkout, login) and cookies for analytics and advertising. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Turning off necessary cookies will stop checkout working.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Get a copy of it
- Correct it
- Have it deleted
- Opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
Email support@vetrinexlabs.com to make a request. We will verify your identity before acting, and respond within the time the law allows.
Marketing — how to stop
Click unsubscribe in any marketing email, reply STOP to any text message, or email support@vetrinexlabs.com. You will still receive transactional messages about orders and subscription billing, because those are not marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
How we protect it
Payments run over encrypted connections and card details are handled by our payment processors, not by us. Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever discover a breach affecting your information we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
Our site is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
